Register your child for VBS 2011.
VBS, or Vacation Bible School, is an event that is held annually, one week every summer, in thousands of churches across the globe. It includes various activities, such as games, workshops, crafts, music, snacks, recreation, and more. The mission of VBS is that children would grow spiritually and learn better how to follow Christ. Our VBS is for children who have completed any grade from Preschool through the 6th grade.
This year’s theme for VBS is “The Big Apple Adventure.” Grab a cab and get ready for fun around every corner in this Adventure, where faith and life connect. As kids explore the big city they learn how to step out in faith and connect with Jesus–sharing the message of Christ with their world. Children will learn much about the Bible while also participating in activities such as missions, games, songs,snacks, and all-in-all fun! And last but not least, it’s FREE!
This year’s event will be held at Magalia Pines Baptist Church (see Contact page) from Monday, July 25th to Friday, July 29th, 9AM-12PM every morning. Children can be registered online, through the church office (open 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM), or at the Carnival (for VBS participants and their parents) that will be held at the church on Saturday, July 23rd, 10AM-12PM.
